David brings over 25 years of experience in technology, finance, and renewables, with a strong focus on luxury hospitality, tourism and conservation. As a globally experienced, award-winning Chief Marketing Officer, Brand Architect, and Strategist, David has led numerous successful ventures across diverse sectors, including Fin-tech, Climate-Tech, Impact, and Conservation. His career highlights include several world firsts, creating award-winning brands and campaigns, forging strategic alliances, and pioneering innovative products that have significantly elevated the market positions of the companies he's worked with. His extensive experience and valuable network make him a key asset in guiding global hospitality brands and hotels in expanding their footprint into Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a BA HONS LLB from the University of Cape Town (UCT), emphasizing his strong foundation in strategy, business development, sales, marketing, brand management, and legal compliance. David’s extensive experience in managing large-scale projects and teams across various sectors, his expertise in technology, finance, and renewables, combined with his passion for conservation and luxury hospitality, makes him a visionary leader in the African hospitality sector.
Frank Reardon – VP
Frank is the Principal and Founder of Strategic Property Solutions, a Durban-based advisory business specializing in both Biodiversity and Commercial Solutions. With over 20 years of experience in the property sector, Frank has worked extensively on biodiversity conservation initiatives, urban management, and complex property transactions. He has been involved in the development of numerous properties, including commercial, retail, and industrial projects across South Africa.Frank has extensive experience engaging and partnering with Communities and Government Agencies executing biodiversity and Eco-tourism projects and is inspired by activating obsolete and underperforming Biodiversity and Eco-Tourist Assets.
Frank’s qualifications as a lawyer, combined with an MBA, and his leadership in various high-profile property developments, make him a pivotal figure in the strategic growth and conservation efforts within the region. Frank is a seasoned professional with a distinguished career in Commercial property where he has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive growth and innovation. With 20 years of experience, Frank has held pivotal roles at companies such as SAPOA, Broll, Fundamentum, and StratProp where he has led innovative projects/initiatives that have delivered significant value to clients and stakeholders alike. Frank’s expertise lies in strategy, conservation, project management, operations, strategic planning, and he is known for his ability to think outside the box (and cook a mean Biryani). He holds a BA LLB MBA which has provided him with a solid foundation in commercial property transactions applied to Eco-Tourism opportunities.
